Lawn mowing and edging includes cutting and trimming around the turf area. Edging sidewalks/driveway edges and blowing off all concrete surfaces of lawn clippings.
It is recommended to feed lawn six to seven applications, depending on the temperature. Feeding lasts up to six weeks depending on the amount of rain and watering. Weed applications may be needed depending on the condition of the lawn. Insect applications are used to keep lawns free from insects and grub damage.
Mulching should be done in spring to help keep down weeds and retain moisture in the soil. It also enhances the appearance of your landscape. We use premium grade mulch for long lasting color and appearance.
Spring clean-ups are recommended for getting rid of winter debris and fallen leaves and branches. Fall clean-ups should be done two or three times (depending on the amount of leaves) at the end of the season. The first one is usually done in October and the final one when the trees are bare. It is not recommended to skip fall clean-ups because leaving the leaves on the lawn through winter can thin and kill your grass. You can call your township for pick-up dates or we can haul it away for you.
Trimming and feeding should be done a minimum of twice a year, usually between April and May and again between August and September, but can be done at any time. Trimming enhances the health of the tree or shrub and can be used to fill it out by encouraging it to grow from the inside.
